Scientific name : Caiman crocodilus

  Description : The Spectacled caiman , also known as the White caiman or Common caiman, is a medium sized crocodilian reptile found in various countries throughout the Americas; can adapt to both fresh- and salt-water habitat and therefore maintains a wide distribution. Caimans eat a variety of invertebrates such as insects, crustaceans, and molluscs. Larger caimans eat fish and water snails. Older animals are capable of taking larger, mammalian prey (e.g. wild pigs). They usually hunt at night.
