 Description : Dholes or Indian wild dog is native to Central, South and Southeast Asia
They are social animal living in large clans
They hunt in the morning hours in group and they even bring down large animals like deer’s, Sambar’s and even elephant calf
Once it was seen in abundant in Western Ghats and Eastern Ghats but now they are into urge of extinction
They are listed as endangered by IUCN
They eat Chital, Sambar, Mouse deer, Muntjac, Langurs, Indian hares etc
